Frequently asked Questions
01
Are you a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)?
No, I am not a Registered Massage Therapist.
03
Do you offer direct billing or can I claim your massage services through insurance/benefits?
Since I am not a Registered Massage Therapist, I do not offer direct billing. Many insurance providers may not cover massages that are not provided by an RMT, as they fall outside the scope of Registered Massage Therapy. However, I can still provide a receipt if needed.
05
What are your hours of operation?
My general hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., five days a week. My schedule varies weekly depending on client demand. For the most accurate availability, please refer to the online booking system, which displays my availability for the next six weeks. I also offer weekend appointments, providing flexibility for my clients.
07
Do you offer prenatal massages?
As of October 1st, I no longer provide massage services to clients who are pregnant due to potential liability concerns.
02
Do you offer “happy endings”?
This is a strictly professional service. Any requests for suggestive or inappropriate activities will not be tolerated.
04
Do you accept walk-in appointments?
No, I do not accept walk-ins as I operate from my home. Since cancellations are rare, I recommend sending a text before 9 a.m. to check for any same-day availability. Please note that I am the sole practitioner managing the business.
06
How should I prepare for a massage session?
If possible, avoid wearing makeup and maintain standard hygiene before your appointment. It’s best to schedule your massage on a day when you have no major commitments, as you may feel sleepy or deeply relaxed afterward, and it’s important to allow yourself time to rest.
08
What form of payment do you accept?
Debit / Credit cards / E-Transfers and Cash
09
Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, please email at thelapistouch@gmail.com for inquiries.
